Event Car Captain - MAURITIUS

The Event Car Captain is the operational owner and brand guardian of the Red Bull Event Car in Mauritius. As the face of the brand on the road, you are responsible for delivering premium brand experiences while ensuring flawless operational execution across events, universities, nightlife, sports, retail, and partner activations. This role combines logistics, event execution, consumer engagement, content creation, and brand representation to bring the brand to life where consumers are. Working closely with the Marketing, Sales and Event teams, you ensure every Event Car activation meets company's premium standards while continuously identifying new opportunities to grow the program locally

BRAND AMBASSADOR

You live and breathe the brand and represent it authentically across all interactions.

Confident engaging with event organisers, agencies, partners and consumers at all levels.

Embody the brand personality, values, and premium image at all times.

Understand the target group in Mauritius and adapt activations and interactions accordingly to remain relevant and impactful.

Be knowledgeable about the products, brand story, and local flagship initiatives

Create memorable, high-energy brand experiences at Red Bull-owned and partner events

Engage with consumers naturally and positively, building emotional connection with the brand

Build and maintain a strong local network (event organizers, DJs, athletes, gym owners, student leaders, nightlife operators, creatives)

Identify new playgrounds, moments, and opportunities to reach the right target audience in Mauritius. Continuously identify emerging trends, communities, and cultural moments that can create new opportunities

Develop and propose innovative Event Car concepts and activations that strengthen brand relevance and consumer engagement.

ROLE AS A DRIVER & EVENT EXPERT

You are the guardian and expert of the Red Bull Event Car.

Conduct pre- and post-event vehicle inspections.

Ensure the Event Car is always clean, fully operational, compliant, and event-ready

Maintain and care for all installed technical and event equipment (sound system, generators, branding assets, chillers, etc.) & be knowledgeable about the vehicle’s features, setup possibilities, and limitations

Ensure optimal vehicle positioning and setup at events for maximum visibility and impact.

Support setup and teardown of equipment at activations.

Maintain stock levels of products, POS materials, and activation equipment

Manage background music and atmosphere at events.

Experience as a DJ, MC, or sound operator is a strong advantage but not mandatory.

Act as the first point of contact on-site for event organizers, DJs, MCs, and partners.

Coordinate with fleet management and suppliers to ensure maximum vehicle uptime and operational efficiency.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and operational issues related to the Event Car.

DIGITAL & SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTION

Drive brand engagement through personal social media platforms using authentic, creative, and locally relevant content.

Capture and share Event Car moments, trends, and culture reflective of Mauritius.

Support national digital initiatives by providing local Event Car Contents.

Contribute to Event Car content planning in collaboration with the Marketing team.

Coordinate with photographers, videographers, content creators, and brand friends to capture high-quality content.

Identify content opportunities before, during, and after activations to maximize communication reach.

Ensure all Event Car content reflects the brand standards and local relevance.

Ensure all published content complies with the Brand Guidelines and Social Media Policies

• Valid manual driving licence held for a minimum of two years

• Availability to work during evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays based on event and activation needs

• Strong communication skills & Excellent organisational skills

• Problem-solving mindset & Ability to work independently

• Positive attitude, adaptable and resilient

• Passion for events and youth culture/ Social media literacy

• Able to lift and move activation equipment (up to approximately 25 kg).

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Able to stand for extended periods during events

• DJ experience using Pioneer RX3 is an advantage.

• Experience operating professional sound equipment is desirable.

• Previous experience supporting or organising events is highly advantageous

University Degree
