General Description

Construction Manager is responsible for project management, administration, and coordination of implementation of the entire project during the construction phase based on the signed consulting contract. Reporting directly to Operation Manager/ Project Manager and Investor. Our job performance is within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, QHSE policy, Codes of Ethics and BV Group’s policies and procedures.

Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities

1. General Responsibilities:

   • Directly guide and direct project teams (including consultants and contractor teams) to implement project requirements to ensure project goals in terms of progress, quality, safety and cost.
   • Construction Manager is responsible for recommending discipline, rewards, and conducting periodic evaluations of personnel under his authority as required by the company.

2. Main Duties:

   • Work directly with Operation Manager/ Project Manager, investors and related parties to ensure coordination of work activities throughout the project implementation process.
   • Construction Manager is responsible for implementing construction phase project management processes including coordination process, material/equipment sample approval process, shop drawing/ MOS/ JSA approval process, inspection and acceptance process, quality control process, ... at the project. Ensure project participants understand and coordinate well during project implementation.
   • Check, update, approve and urge the implementation of plans, including submitted documents, project documents, and work progress in accordance with promulgation procedures and legal procedures.
   • Prepare, coordinate and chair project-related meetings
   • Guide the project team or directly carry out reports as required by the Investor and according to the contract.
   • In addition to the above tasks, the Construction Manager will also perform other tasks assigned by the Operation Manager/ Project Manager

3. Reporting & Others:

   • Liaise with Operation Manager/ Project Manager as appropriate for any other technical assistance
   • Responsible for managing internal costs of the consulting team, ensuring compliance with the budget assigned from the company

Candidate Profile

• Graduated from universities majoring in engineering and construction...

• At least 10 years of experience in the field of construction expertise, and at least 05 years in equivalent positions.

• Candidates have completed at least 02 high-rise building projects or 02 industrial projects with the position of Construction Manager at general construction contractor companies, or domestic and foreign consulting companies.

• Have project management and construction supervision certificate Grade I - Issued by the Ministry of Construction

• Have certificate of occupational safety training group I.

• Other competencies (if any)
