We are seeking an experienced Radiation Protection Officer (RPO) to join our team. This role is critical for ensuring radiation safety compliance, protecting personnel, and maintaining regulatory standards across our operations, particularly for ADNOC projects.
Radiation Safety Management: Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive radiation safety programs aligned with regulatory requirements
Dose Monitoring & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate dosimetry records and personnel exposure documentation
Workplace Monitoring: Conduct regular radiation surveys and environmental monitoring to ensure safe working conditions
Incident Management: Investigate radiation safety incidents, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence
ADNOC Project Compliance: Serve as Performing Authority for ADNOC projects, ensuring full regulatory adherence
Stakeholder Communication: Liaise effectively with client representatives, company HSE teams, and operations personnel
Site Audits & Regulatory Inspections: Conduct internal audits and manage FANR (Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation) audit processes
Safety Culture Development: Champion and implement vibrant radiation safety culture across the organization
Managerial Oversight: Supervise radiation safety protocols and lead HSE initiatives
Minimum: HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) or equivalent
Language Proficiency: Intermediate or higher level in English (Read, Write, and Speak)
Strong communication skills essential
Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in radiation protection and safety management
Proven exposure in site-based radiation safety management
Track record of implementing effective radiation safety programs
ASNT RT Level II Certification (mandatory)
Advanced RPO Training (completion required)
WMS Full Package certification for ADNOC operations (mandatory)

Proficiency in dose monitoring systems and dosimetry records management
Expertise in workplace radiation surveys and monitoring protocols

Thorough understanding of FANR regulations and ADNOC requirements
Capability to conduct site audits and manage regulatory inspections
Experience as Performing Authority for major projects

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Managerial experience in leading HSE initiatives
Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
