We are seeking a skilled and certified PCN UT (Ultrasonic Testing) Technician to join our inspection and quality assurance team. This role offers the opportunity to work on critical infrastructure projects in the Oil & Gas sector, ensuring equipment integrity and safety compliance through advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques.
Conduct ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MPT), penetrant testing (PT), and other NDT inspections on piping, pipelines, and equipment in Oil & Gas facilities
Select and apply appropriate inspection methods based on material, geometry, and regulatory requirements
Accurately interpret inspection indications and defects according to relevant standards and technical procedures
Document findings and generate comprehensive inspection reports
Maintain strict adherence to technical procedures, safety protocols, and industry standards
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance with project specifications
Mentor junior technicians and support continuous improvement initiatives
Minimum: Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
PCN UT Level 2 certification (minimum 3 years post-certification experience)
ASNT Level 2 certification in:
PCN Certificates 3.1 & 3.2
Minimum 3 years post-certification experience in PCN UT Level 2
Minimum 2–3 years post-certification experience in ASNT Level 2 (MPT & PT)
5+ years overall experience in non-destructive testing, including:
Proven experience inspecting piping, pipelines, and equipment in Oil & Gas environments
Inspection Method Selection – Proficiency in identifying and selecting the most appropriate NDT method based on component specifications, material properties, and applicable standards
Indication Interpretation – Advanced skill in analyzing and interpreting inspection indications, defects, and anomalies in accordance with relevant codes and procedures
Procedure Compliance – Demonstrated ability to follow technical procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols with precision and consistency
Safety Awareness – Strong commitment to workplace safety, hazard recognition, and adherence to all safety instructions and regulations
Detail-oriented and quality-focused
Strong problem-solving abilities
Reliable and professional demeanor
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical capability to perform field inspections in challenging
