Industry: Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Employment Type: Project-Based
Perform third-party inspection and verification activities across multiple disciplines, including Welding, Process Piping, Mechanical Equipment, Painting, Coating, Wrapping, Hydrotesting, and Advanced NDT.
Review and assess welding, NDT, coating, and mechanical inspection activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.
Evaluate NDT procedures and inspection methodologies.
Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), quality procedures, method statements, and inspection reports.
Review site queries, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), concession requests, and corrective actions.
Witness inspections, testing, commissioning, and quality verification activities.
Provide technical guidance to project teams and ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements.
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Welding, or Metallurgical Engineering.
Minimum 15 years of experience in onshore and offshore Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects.
Extensive experience in third-party inspection and verification activities covering:
Strong experience in reviewing and approving multidisciplinary ITPs, procedures, site queries, NCRs, and concession requests.
Ability to assess and evaluate NDT procedures and inspection techniques.
Familiarity with international codes and standards applicable to Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects.
CSWIP 3.2, AWS Senior CWI, AWS CWI, or ERS Welding Inspector Certification.
PCN Level II certification is highly desirable.
BGAS Level 2 or NACE Level 1 certification required.
Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel for international project assignments.
EPC, refinery, petrochemical, LNG, offshore, and major pipeline projects.
Experience working with international inspection agencies, clients, and certification bodies.
