Senior Multidiscipline Inspector

Industry: Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Employment Type: Project-Based

Responsibilities

• Perform third-party inspection and verification activities across multiple disciplines, including Welding, Process Piping, Mechanical Equipment, Painting, Coating, Wrapping, Hydrotesting, and Advanced NDT.

• Review and assess welding, NDT, coating, and mechanical inspection activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.

• Evaluate NDT procedures and inspection methodologies.

• Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), quality procedures, method statements, and inspection reports.

• Review site queries, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), concession requests, and corrective actions.

• Witness inspections, testing, commissioning, and quality verification activities.

• Provide technical guidance to project teams and ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Welding, or Metallurgical Engineering.

• Minimum 15 years of experience in onshore and offshore Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects.

• Extensive experience in third-party inspection and verification activities covering:

  • Welding
  • Process Piping
  • Mechanical Equipment
  • Painting & Coating
  • Wrapping Systems
  • Hydrotesting
  • Advanced NDT Methods

• Strong experience in reviewing and approving multidisciplinary ITPs, procedures, site queries, NCRs, and concession requests.

• Ability to assess and evaluate NDT procedures and inspection techniques.

• Familiarity with international codes and standards applicable to Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects.

Certifications

• CSWIP 3.2, AWS Senior CWI, AWS CWI, or ERS Welding Inspector Certification.

• PCN Level II certification is highly desirable.

• BGAS Level 2 or NACE Level 1 certification required.

• Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel for international project assignments.

Preferred Experience

• EPC, refinery, petrochemical, LNG, offshore, and major pipeline projects.

• Experience working with international inspection agencies, clients, and certification bodies.
