Öhlins seeks a technician for the testing and validation department

Do you want to work with world-class shock absorbers?

Öhlins is represented in the absolute elite of motorsport, as well as in MTB. Our products are also used by enthusiasts worldwide. We are now looking for a technician for our department for testing and validation of our products.

SOME OF YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will work with testing Öhlins products for motorcycles, cars, and MTBs. We ensure that our shock absorbers and other products meet customers' high demands – and that we continue to be world leaders in the automotive industry. Testing consists of various types of endurance tests, maximum loads, etc., to push our products to the limit of what they can handle.

You will also be responsible for the maintenance and calibration of our test equipment, which includes electromechanical and hydraulic test rigs. The role requires you to quickly grasp technology and use your experience to analyze and solve problems that arise. Therefore, we expect you to have at least three years of experience in similar tasks, or parts of the tasks that the role entails.

The department consists of a close-knit team of seven people who work closely with the business. Every morning, we check in on the day's work and plan how we will solve our tasks together. We therefore believe that you enjoy working in a team, while also having the ability to independently drive and complete tasks.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS

We would like you to be working as a technician today and have at least three years of experience in areas such as electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, or related technical fields. You are solution-oriented and appreciate collaborating with others to find effective solutions. Workshop technical experience, such as being able to operate a lathe or milling machine, is a merit.

You need to be able to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
