Indirect Sourcing Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for an Indirect Sourcing Specialist who will be responsible for sourcing goods and services not directly related to production. This role requires a professional who can effectively manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for indirect categories.

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities.

• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve optimal value.

• Manage supplier relationships and performance through regular evaluations and feedback.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure sourcing aligns with business objectives.

• Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

• Prepare and present reports on sourcing activities, savings, and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in indirect sourcing or procurement.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Proficiency in contract management and supplier relationship management.

• Ability to analyze data and identify trends.

• Experience with e-procurement systems is a plus.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
