JOB DESCRIPTION

Ensure the correct receipt of goods, validating the quantities and quality of products received.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS

• Prepare the department for receiving goods, prepare spaces for pallet allocation, check the cleanliness of the area, and start activities.

• Receive goods, prepare spaces for receipt, check the documentation of the cargo (type, lot, brand, quantity).

• Unload trucks, check the general quality of the packaging and if they are sealed, select a sample and verify if it is in accordance with the order and has quality, measure the temperature of refrigerated truck bodies for perishable deliveries; when in agreement, start unloading. Gather cargo documentation and deliver it to the notes room for appropriate action.

• Allocate unloaded products to their proper location in stock, identify pallets with lot number, product type, and expiration date, coordinate the storage of merchandise. Inform the notes room about any discrepancies in deliveries, such as incorrect quantities of goods, incorrect invoices, among others.

• Manage the use of rented pallets, count them, and maintain control of their use and removal.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma required; Desirable: higher education in Logistics, Administration, or related areas.
