Reviews and discusses daily work schedule with supervisor/manager.
Implements work schedule and guides coworkers with responsibilities ensuring gravesites are properly prepared and set up prior to services. Being considerate of ongoing services, may adjust assignments to different areas of the Park.
Proficiently performs cemetery maintenance responsibilities along with staff. Duties include but not limited to, installing outer burial containers; lowering device set up; burial, entombment, interment openings and closings procedures; properly hand digging graves and disinterment, and; maintaining tools and equipment.
Guides, trains, and provides constructive feedback to staff. Ensures work is performed to company standards and complies with regulations.
Identifies and recommends efficiencies; implements approved efficiencies.
Supports change initiatives; adjusts effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements or cultures.
Education
Certification/License
Experience
At least two (2) years industry experience
Interment layout, memorial setting, and operating cemetery maintenance equipment preferred
Experience operating heavy equipment preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Leadership and coaching skills
Ability to use power and electrical equipment; ability to use manual hand tools such as clippers, loppers, and hedgers; ability to drive all-terrain quad vehicles with hitched trailers
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills preferred
