Within the Operations & Supply Chain organizational unit of the Aircraft BU, a Laboratory Technician is sought for the Venegono site. The selected candidate will be placed in the chemical laboratory of the Quality department and will be responsible for performing Chemical analyses and Physico-Chemical tests on:
Galvanic solutions (mainly anodic oxidations on aluminum parts, surface coatings on steels, etc.) and representative samples of these processes;
Composite materials (mainly epoxy resins and carbon fibers);
Corrosion tests on paints and surface treatments;
Furthermore, the resource will carry out the following activities:
Ensure ordinary maintenance and correct functioning of laboratory instruments;
Perform required analyses/tests and compile related reports;
Collaborate with production departments to resolve quality issues related to relevant processes/materials;
Ensure compliance with internal and external quality regulations;
Support internal/third-party audits.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Chemistry or equivalent.
Required Experience Level:
Junior/Expert
Technical Skills and Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in a Chemical Laboratory;
Knowledge of materials: Aluminum Alloys and Low-Alloyed and Stainless Steels; basic knowledge of composite materials (mainly CFC) is a plus.
Knowledge of Heat Treatments of Aluminum Alloys, Galvanic Treatments (mainly Anodic Oxidation of Aluminum), Painting; knowledge of composite material processing is a plus.
Ability to perform titrations (manual / acid-base / Redox / complexometric);
Knowledge of ICP, Karl Fisher, IC, UV, FTIR, Atomic Absorption, DSC is a plus.
Basic Mathematics.
Basic Statistics (Maximum, Mean, Minimum, CV, Median).
Behavioral Skills:
Good relational and communication skills. High sense of responsibility. Good for Planning & Problem Solving. Result-oriented and priority management.
Language Skills:
Intermediate Technical English (B1)
Computer Skills:
Excellent knowledge of the Office suite;
Other:
Ability to work in a team.

How does the selection process work?
