Within the Cyber & Security Solutions Area, we are looking for a Software Engineer for our Genoa Fiumara office.

The person will be responsible for the following activities:

designing, developing, and releasing software components for Mission Critical communication networks addressed to professional users (Private Mobile radio). The application domain will mainly, but not exclusively, be focused on control room components and gateway systems for interfacing with PABX/PSTN;
re-engineering/modernization of product release/deploy/configuration/integration methods for network elements developed by the department.

Education: Master's degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science

Seniority: Senior - 5/10 years of previous experience in the role

Technical knowledge and skills:

functional analysis starting from stakeholder system/product requirements
architectural design of software components, also with the support of formal methodologies (UML)
professional knowledge of OO programming languages such as C++, java, C# and scripting (Python)
Operational experience on Linux and Windows server systems
Competence in VOIP/SIP communication systems and PABX software (optional but qualifying competence in softPABX Asterisks)
Optional but qualifying competence: experience on virtualization infrastructures (Proxmox)
Optional but qualifying competence: Containerization technologies (Docker)
