We are looking for a Senior IT Procurement Manager in our Corporate General Procurement function.

Your Tasks

• Leading and strategically aligning the entire IT category management at a European level

• Responsibility for the development and implementation of European IT procurement strategies to ensure cost efficiency and supplier quality

• Leading and developing a highly qualified team of Category Managers

• Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships and negotiating major global contracts

• Identifying market trends and innovation potentials to continuously optimize procurement processes

• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, tools, and overall category performance

• Ensuring compliance with guidelines and risk management in the IT procurement process

• Close collaboration with executive management as well as the IT, Finance, and Legal departments

• Project management for group-wide cost optimization programs

Your Profile

• Completed university degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable field

• Many years of experience in category management, especially in the category IT, as well as leadership experience

• Proven success in developing and implementing procurement strategies on an international level

• Excellent negotiation skills and experience in handling complex contract negotiations

• Strategic thinking combined with strong operational execution

• Outstanding communication skills and assertiveness

• Fluent English skills, Fluent German skills are an advantage

• Extensive project experience in e-procurement, source-to-pay, and cost optimization

• Analytical mindset and affinity for IT and technology trends

• Proven track record in the software area (e.g. licensing models, SaaS, cloud solutions, and vendor ecosystems) is considered a strong advantage

• Strong communication skills and team spirit

• Proficient in MS Office, SAP, Ivalua is an advantage
