Job Description
Perform Audits to check EHS Compliance at workplace
Perform Audit follow-up to ensure corrective actions are implemented
Documentation Management: training records, Contractor Work Authorization records, Chemical Register, Safety Data Sheets, Equipment Buy Off records etc.
Data Analysis to study trends: near miss or accident trends, waste generation trends, audit findings trends etc.
Assist HSE Engineers on hazard assessment: equipment safety buy off, coordinate noise monitoring, storm water sampling, chemical exposure monitoring etc.
Support EHS Campaign events: prepare poster, coordinate games, quiz, exhibition etc.
Assis HSE Engineers on other activities as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Science (Environmental, Health and Safety, Chemical Engineering preferably).
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word
Additional Information
Local student needing to complete internship as part of their tertiary education
At least 6 months availability for internship
