Paint Quality Technician
As a Paint Quality Technician, you will play a hands-on role in ensuring paint quality standards are met across new product launches and mass production. Working closely with suppliers and internal teams, you will support inspections, monitor paint processes, and help maintain consistent cosmetic and coating quality across frames, forks, and components.
Support supplier paint readiness for new product launches
Assist in implementing FMEA actions and follow up on open items during pilot builds
Help prepare Quality Control Plans and inspection checklists
Participate in pilot builds and FAI by performing paint and cosmetic inspections
Support sample validation (color, masking, decal placement)
Inspect paint quality on frames, forks, and small parts
Record and report defects with clear, accurate data
Support SCAR activities by collecting data and tracking corrective actions
Monitor and highlight recurring quality issues
Maintain inspection records and documentation
Support supplier audits and on-site process checks
Verify key process conditions (paint thickness, surface finish, curing)
Ensure adherence to standard inspection and process requirements
Escalate abnormal conditions or risks to the Paint Quality Engineer
Diploma or degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials, or related field
1–3+ years of experience in manufacturing, paint/coating, or quality inspection
Basic understanding of paint processes (liquid paint, powder coating, decals)
Familiarity with inspection methods and basic quality tools (e.g., 5 Why, defect analysis)
Strong attention to detail with a hands-on working style
Basic English communication skills; Chinese is a plus
Willingness to travel to supplier sites
This role is based in Protrade Industrial Zone (An Tây, Bến Cát). Proximity to the area (e.g., Thủ Dầu Một) is a plus to support effective collaboration with suppliers
