JOB TITLE Within the Engineering area, we are looking for an Avionic System Engineer for our Cascina Costa (VA) office.
ACTIVITIES
The person will be responsible for the following activities:
Acquisition, allocation, derivation, validation and verification of avionic system requirements and definition of the architecture derived from the end-customer's operational requirements and certification requirements;
Definition of electro-avionic design and integration through the preparation of functional diagrams and the analysis of subsystem interface control documents to be used as input for aircraft installation drawings;
Development of system-level requirements for software components;
Management of the avionic system development lifecycle, in terms of system requirements review, design reviews, software requirements reviews, test readiness review, flight authorization and final qualification reviews: preparation of presentations and conduct/support of technical design reviews;
Preparation of detailed equipment and system specifications and Statement of Work documentation and monitoring of supplier development and qualification activities;
Preparation and execution of bench test procedures and aircraft test procedures for avionic systems, participation in aircraft trials, including external test ranges;
Preparation of certification documentation for avionic systems (e.g., design report, ground/flight test plan and report, analysis, qualification and compliance reports);
Technical management of external suppliers;
Support to production and customer support for troubleshooting analysis and execution of aircraft tests;
Management of relationships with customers, internal and external;
Support for tender activities with potential customers.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Electronic, Electrical, Telecommunications or Automation Engineering; Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering)
Seniority Junior: 1 - 3 years of experience
Technical knowledge and skills
Behavioral skills
Language skills Excellent knowledge of English, level B2/C1
IT skills Desirable knowledge of system engineering tools for requirements management (e.g., IBM Rational DOORS) and model-based system engineering development approach (ad es. UML/SysML tools).
