JOB TITLE Within the Engineering area, we are looking for an Engineering Proposal Manager for our Cascina Costa (VA) office.
ACTIVITIES The person will be responsible for the following activities:
Support the analysis of customer technical requirements and the definition of aircraft configuration modifications and new solutions (kits).
Contribute to the definition of aircraft configurations/architectures for RFI/RFP responses.
Coordinate and consolidate multidisciplinary engineering inputs, ensuring consistency and completeness of the proposed solution.
Contribute to the preparation of engineering proposals (EP) and technical documentation, ensuring clarity and compliance with customer requirements.
Support the definition of the technical baseline, ensuring alignment with cost estimates, scheduling constraints, and business assumptions.
Ensure traceability between requirements, proposed solutions, and supporting documentation.
Identify key technical risks, assumptions, and dependencies related to bidding activities.
Support compliance assessment and management of requirement changes during the bidding phase.
Assist in the preparation of technical bidding materials based on inputs from Engineering and Business stakeholders.
Support the management and integrity of requirements, configurations, and bidding documentation within the RA database.
Contribute to internal technical reviews and continuous improvement of RA processes
REQUIREMENTS
Education Bachelor's/Master's degree in Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering
Seniority Junior: 1 - 3 years of experience
Technical knowledge and skills Competencies in Systems Engineering, Requirements Analysis/Management, Configuration Management, Engineering Proposals, or Bid Support; Familiarity with requirements management and traceability processes; Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams; Knowledge of requirements management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS or equivalent); Basic understanding of bidding and proposal processes (RFI/RFP) and technical baseline definition.
Behavioral skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to work in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams; Good organizational and coordination skills; Attention to detail and structured approach to documentation; Effective communication skills (both written and verbal); Ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines;
Language skills Excellent knowledge of the English language, C1 level
Computer skills Knowledge of requirements management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS or equivalent); Basic understanding of bidding and proposal processes (RFI/RFP) and technical baseline definition.
