Mid-Level
The Investment Banking Associate is an intermediate-level position in our Swiss Investment Banking Team in Zurich. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients in executing complex transactions across M&A, Equity Capital Markets, and Debt Capital Markets, in coordination with various sector and product banking teams. The overall objective of this role is to act as a strategic advisor to our clients, which include large multinational corporations and financial sponsors
Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive financial models and valuation analyses for M&A, equity, and debt transactions to support strategic client advisory
Create and prepare high-impact client presentations that analyse industry trends, assess financial situations, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve their goals
Assist in managing the full transaction lifecycle, which includes leading due diligence processes and coordinating with advisors
Play a key role in developing and strengthening client relationships, participating in advisory teams, and ensuring effective communication throughout transaction processes
Contribute to the firm's apprenticeship culture by actively training, mentoring, and guiding the professional development of our analysts and interns
Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will hold 3-6 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking
Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Econometrics, or Science preferred
Proven experience covering Swiss corporates is highly desirable
Experience in corporate valuation and complex financial analyses
Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with proven experience in a client-facing capacity
