Job Description:
In this role, you will take ownership of transport and logistics activities supporting large-scale power grid projects within Hitachi Energy’s Grid Integration business. You will manage the end-to-end process—from defining requirements and setting transport budgets during tendering to executing complex global shipments during project delivery. Your work will focus heavily on heavy-lift transportation, including handling equipment weighing hundreds of tons, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant delivery across international routes.
You will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers to coordinate logistics activities and resolve challenges that arise in dynamic project environments. By ensuring that equipment arrives on time, with the correct documentation and within budget, you contribute directly to the reliability and performance of grid infrastructure projects. Your role will also support continuous improvement initiatives, helping enhance transport quality, reduce risks, and strengthen operational efficiency across global projects. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of engineering, supply chain, and project execution while shaping how critical energy infrastructure is delivered worldwide.
