The Intern HR Controlling & Data Management supports the Corporate HR Controlling & Data Management team with a strong focus on HR reporting, data analysis, and dashboard preparation. The role contributes to the creation of standardized reports, management dashboards, and data-driven insights that support HR and business decision-making across the PHOENIX group. Working closely with the team, the intern gains hands-on experience in reporting processes, analytics, and data visualization.
We are looking for an Intern (m/f/d) – HR Controlling & Data Management, starting as soon as possible, for our headquarters in Mannheim.
Support the preparation and consolidation of monthly and quarterly HR reports
Assist in maintaining and improving standard reporting templates and dashboards
Prepare and validate HR datasets, including data extraction, cleaning, and basic quality checks
Support the creation of management presentations and KPI-based summaries
Perform basic data analysis (e.g. trends, variances) and prepare results for reporting and visualization
Assist in building and enhancing data visualizations and dashboards
Contribute to optimization and partial automation of reporting processes
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program (e.g. HR, Business Administration, Economics, Controlling) with focus on HR topics
First relevant professional experience is an advantage
Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented working style
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Analytical mindset with strong affinity for numbers and data
