Functional Test Engineer (HiL)

• Responsible for the development and specification of functional tests to validate HVAC system functions.

• You are significantly involved in ensuring product requirements during the development of heating appliances and responsible for their system integration.

• You program test programs, taking into account the test specifications you have created.

• Based on the created test programs, you ensure autonomous execution of component verification on HiL test stands.

• The evaluation and assessment of the test results as well as a release recommendation for the verified components are within your responsibilities.

• You participate in development related reviews or carry them out yourself to review the requirements specification, test specification and implementation.

What makes us successful together

• University or master’s degree in the field of electrical engineering or a comparable program and can already draw on three years of professional experience.

• Programming languages such as Python/C are familiar to you, and you have experience with embedded systems as well as hardware-in-the-loop testing (HIL) using the DSPACE toolchain.

• Your solid understanding of how components in the HVAC system function and interact will help you in your daily work.

• You are proficient in English, both in spoken and written form.

• Independence, communication and teamwork skills, organizational talent, and a meticulous approach to work round out your profile.
