The Client Onboard Analyst is a developing professional role. This role identifies policy and applies specialty knowledge in monitoring and assessing processes and data. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring a quick and seamless onboarding and account opening experience for our clients. Our ultimate goal is to exceed our clients’ expectations by constantly innovating to improve the onboarding and account opening processes.
Onboard new client relationships and additional members by conducting Know Your Customer (KYC) due diligence using Citi onboarding applications.
Perform client documentation searches across internal and external sites and compile client profiles.
Initiate Legal negotiations and monitor progress through ongoing follow-ups with stakeholders.
Ensure all documentation received is current, accurate and complete.
Partner with the Account Opening division, Tax, Legal, Credit and other product partners to ensure expedient, efficient and seamless processing.
Provide the highest level of customer service and teamwork with our internal partners until requests are completed, maintaining constant communication with the Client and our Markets Sales team partners.
Continuously innovate by analyzing our onboarding processes and systems to ensure we are as efficient and effective as possible
Engage with technology to design, build, and test new or updated applications
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
Bilingual, English and Spanish or/and Portuguese
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to improve existing processes
Extremely detail oriented
Excellent team player
Strong ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines, prioritize, and work well under pressure
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated interest in the fields of operations and compliance
Experience of 2+ years is preferred.
