Within the Digital Engineering & Sustainability Area, we are looking for a Software Engineer for our site in Pomigliano d'Arco (NA).

Main activities:

• Maintenance and support of proprietary Engineering tools;

• Ordinary maintenance on proprietary Engineering Tools to support activities related to:

  • Management of aircraft non-conformities and requests for derogation in the experimental field;
  • Management of defects on production aircraft;
  • Supplier evaluation;
  • Engineering Training Catalog;
  • Name and delegation processes for Engineering
  • Bug fixes and ordinary support for the operation of proprietary Engineering Tools.

• Implementation and development of new functionalities;

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Aeronautical or Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering

Required experience level:

Expert

Technical skills:

Experience in SW development as a full-stack developer with the following hard skills:

• Knowledge of the Environments/Languages/Frameworks listed below:
  • Classic ASP;
  • SQL / SQL Server;
  • Python – Django, Flask;
  • Java – Spring, Hibernate;
  • Javascript - JQuery;
  • HTML - Bootstrap;
  • Design Pattern;
  • Docker;
  • Knowledge and experience in object-oriented programming;
  • Knowledge and experience in using REST APIs;
  • Knowledge and experience in using Design Patterns;
  • Knowledge of Linux OS management;
  • Experience with Machine Learning is a plus;
  • Knowledge of the Redmine tool is a plus.

Behavioral skills:

Proactive person, with good organizational skills and ability to work independently on aspects of competence, with an aptitude for teamwork, and ability to interact with other company figures. An aptitude for on-the-job learning of currently used Engineering tools is essential.

Language skills:

Good knowledge of English
