Entry Level, Junior
We are currently recruiting a talented Trainee Lawyer or an experienced Lawyer to join our Litigation team in Milan. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in international financial sanctions and export control and, as a strong asset, a background in civil and commercial disputes.
Advising clients on international financial sanctions and export control matters
Supporting clients, including leading banks and private corporations, in their day-to-day compliance with EU and OFAC sanctions programs
Assisting with legal research and analysis on sanctions and regulatory developments
Supporting the assessment of legal and compliance risks
Drafting legal documents, including memoranda and client communications
Assisting the team in commercial and civil litigation matters
Supporting clients in disputes and pre-contentious matters
Working closely with senior professionals on complex domestic and cross-border matters
Keeping track of legal and regulatory developments relevant to clients’ activities
Italian qualified lawyer with great academic results
We do not set upper or lower limits of PQE for any of our vacancies. However, we believe that candidates who have between 1 and 2 years’ PQE are likely to have the right level of legal knowledge and have gained the right level of experience needed to be able to undertake this role
We are also interested in evaluating a brilliant and experienced trainee lawyer who will preferably expect to sit for the first session of Italian Bar Exam in 2027
The candidate should have previous experience in international financial sanctions and export control, and a proven background of commercial law and dispute resolution will be considered a plus
Excellent communication and drafting skills in Italian and English
