The TCC Liaison Officer plays a critical role in ensuring effective coordination between the Transportation Control Centre (TCC) and operational teams during the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) phase of a metro system. This role supports smooth traffic management, efficient incident handling, and seamless communication across all stakeholders. The TCC Liaison Officer contributes to real-time operational decision-making, ensures timely information flow, and helps maintain service reliability and safety standards. The position requires strong coordination skills, the ability to work in high-pressure environments, and experience in metro or transportation systems.
Facilitate coordination between the Transportation Control Centre (TCC) and operational teams
Ensure efficient traffic management and operational continuity across the metro network
Act as the primary liaison during incident response and service disruptions
Ensure timely communication, escalation, and resolution of operational issues
Support TCC in real-time monitoring and operational decision-making
Coordinate dispatch activities and ensure alignment with field teams
Maintain accurate and timely information flow between TCC and on-ground personnel
Assist in development and implementation of incident management protocols
Ensure adherence to safety standards and operational procedures
Collaborate with O&M Contractors, technical teams, and Employer representatives
Support operational reviews, reporting, and performance assessments
Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Traffic Management, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation or metro/rail operations
Strong understanding of transportation management systems and control room operations
Experience in incident management and operational coordination
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, real-time environments
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
Familiarity with operational procedures and safety standards
