System Validation Technician
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technician to join our Turbo Quality team to deliver the absolute best cycling experience to Specialized riders around the world. In this role you will be part of our quality team working on complete electronic systems including hardware/software and components with a focus on early-stage testing to achieve a bike vision in collaboration with system and connectivity engineers. The home base of this role will be in our Cham, Switzerland innovation center.
Main Tasks
End to End user validation in development projects
User validation of new Firmware (HMI, Motor, Battery) including riding test
Toolchain validation
Specialized App testing
Regression testing on released bikes
Define/execute delta validation protocols based on new firmware releases
Assist in validation of hardware running changes
Document test result and follow up on test findings
Feedback test findings to quality engineer
Define reproduction test protocols for issues
Collaborate with System Engineering to define new test protocols
Requirements
Min 2-3 years’ experience in firmware, software, embedded system testing or in the bike industry
Responsible, dedicated and meticulous person with will-do attitude and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills in English with the ability to effectively interact with team members (German as a plus)
Knowledge of Jira/Confluence is a plus
Profound IT user knowledge (MS Office, Outlook)
Great social, communication and networking skills
