Job Information:
Permanent full-time position.
Salary of $29.31/h to $35.67/h plus night premiums of $1.50/h.
Night shift schedule from 11:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday to Thursday (36.25 hours worked – paid 40h).

Job Description: Hitachi Energy is looking for production laborers for its Quebec City plant. Under the responsibility of the production supervisor, the production laborer must meet operational needs, while respecting quality standards, the environment, and health & safety. The laborer is responsible for performing various tasks in the manufacture of distribution transformers.
Responsibilities:
Perform handling, lifting, assembly, mounting, and packaging operations of the product.
Interpret general assembly plans, schematic drawings, and production work instructions.
Perform validations and measurements to provide a high-quality product.
Complete work orders, verification sheets, and if necessary, certain inspection documents.
Ensure basic maintenance of their work equipment, keep their work area clean and tidy.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma, vocational studies diploma, or any combination of relevant experience.
Minimum one (1) year of work experience in the manufacturing and industrial sector.
Good physical endurance and ability to work standing for long periods.
Experience with handling tools.
Interpretation of plans and drawings (an asset).
Experience with an overhead crane (an asset).
Functional French and basic math skills.
The candidate must be available to do their training on the day shift (7:00 AM to 3:15 PM) or evening shift (3:15 PM to 11:30 PM)
