Job Description:

Within the Electronics Business Area, in the International Sales – Naval Systems organizational unit, we are looking for a Sales Manager for our Rome office, Via Tiburtina Km 12.400.

The person will mainly deal with the following activities:

• Identify specific needs, tenders and opportunities with International Customers, mainly for Radar Sensors and Integrated Naval Combat Systems, coordinating with the Marketing Function, also defining the offer strategy and success probability.

• Process customer requests by coordinating a BID Team composed of various Company functions (PM, Contracts, Legal, Risks, Engineering, Finance, Purchasing, etc.), involving other Company Business Lines (Logistics, Optical and Avionics Sensors, etc.), other Companies controlled and participated by Leonardo.

• Present to the various Company Directorates (Business Line, Business Area, Division, etc.) in an appropriate manner what has been developed by the BID Team.

• Present offers to customers, update them with new needs and requirements, start negotiations discussing technical, economic and Terms & Conditions aspects, up to the signing of the contract.

Educational Qualifications:

• Three-year/Master's degree in STEM disciplines.

Seniority:

• Expert: 3-5 years.

• International experience is a plus.

Technical knowledge and skills:

• Physics, Mathematics.

• Integrated systems (in general).

Behavioral skills:

• Proactivity;

• Autonomy;

• Ability to work in a team;

• Leadership;

• Problem-solving attitude;

• Flexibility in dealing with topics outside one's domain of expertise.

Language knowledge

• Good knowledge of English (B2)

• Good knowledge of Spanish (B2) is a plus

The ideal candidate is available to carry out work activities mainly on site and to travel for short/medium periods, after adequate on-the-job training, in Italy and/or abroad.
