As a Firmware Engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will participate in projects related to the AeroSpace & Defence sector and work within our Software Engineering practice.
In this role, you will be a key player in the following activities:
Firmware development for real-time embedded platforms;
Writing drivers for peripherals based on microcontroller datasheets;
Low-level programming on microcontrollers and real-time processors;
Debugging and troubleshooting on target hardware;
Requirements and test case management;
Collaboration with design and production teams.
In-depth knowledge of languages for firmware development (C/C++, Assembly, Python, MATLAB)
Experience with ARM microcontrollers (NXP, STM32), PIC, AVR, Renesas
Knowledge of main serial communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, USB, Ethernet, CAN, LIN, RS232/485)
Experience with debugging systems (JTAG, SWD)
Knowledge of versioning and requirements/test management tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA)
Familiarity with DSP, BLE, NFC, RF technologies
Positively evaluated will be:
Experience with communication protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT, ZigBee, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB)
Knowledge of security protocols (HTTPS, SSL/TLS) and cryptography
Experience with Embedded Linux (Yocto, kernel)
Knowledge of real-time operating systems (VxWorks, RTOS, FreeRTOS)
Advanced microcontroller programming
