Within the Avionic Systems unit, we are looking for an Avionic System Integration & Display Subsystem Engineer for our Turin office.
The resource will be inserted in the Airlifters Avionic Systems unit and, specifically, in the Airlifter Basic Avionics System function as a System Engineer.
The resource will mainly deal with:
Architectural analysis related to the System Integration & Display subsystem, with a primary focus on System Integration aspects and avionics computers (Mission Computer and Bus Adapter Unit);
Defining, managing and controlling project requirements for system design related to the integration of satellite communication systems within the context of the C-27J's basic avionics;
Managing relationships with suppliers of satellite systems and sensors;
Maintaining system configuration control during development and in-service support phases (impact analysis and change requests);
Preparing System Design documentation to conduct project reviews (System Requirements Review, Preliminary/Critical Design Review, Test Readiness Review, Configuration and Change Board) with the internal product development team and with any suppliers/partners;
Defining and planning product testing and qualification activities.
Education:
Master's degree in Electronics or Aerospace engineering
Required experience level (junior, expert, senior, master)
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
Technical/IT skills:
Knowledge of main basic avionics systems;
Experience in defining requirements for on-board equipment;
Ability to use industry tools such as DOORS, Serena Dimension;
Knowledge of MIL STD 1553, ARINC 429 standards.
NICE TO HAVE:
Experience related to product requirement management and traceability;
Experience in defining test procedures;
Knowledge of D0178 DO254 Software development standards.
