Within the Cyber & Security Solutions Business Area, we are looking for a Cyber Proposal Engineer for our offices in Rome Laurentina or Chieti Scalo.
The resource will join the Bid & Offering Cyber Advisory team, a structure that acts as the single point of contact for the Global Cybersecurity Center for business lines. The team's mission is to ensure strategic and operational support in the formulation of complex technical-commercial offers, orchestrating the contributions of various operational structures.
The ideal candidate will manage the entire technical offer lifecycle for National and International Governmental, Defense, Critical Infrastructure and Large Enterprise clients, dealing with:

Analysis and Solution Design: In-depth analysis of tender specifications and technical documentation; design of security architectures and definition of the most suitable technical solution and services to satisfy mandatory and advantageous requirements;

Technical Bid Management: Drafting of technical offer documentation (Technical Proposal) in response to Tenders, RFPs, RFQs and RFIs, coordinating any contributions from third parties or internal stakeholders;

Cost Engineering: Development of complex cost models (costing), defining the cost structure for managed services, system integration projects and technological supplies, analyzing the associated technical/economic risks;

Customer Engagement: Active support to the sales force in the offer presentation phases to the Client, including the management of clarification sessions (Q&A).
Educational Qualification:
Degree in STEM disciplines or equivalent professional experience in structured contexts.
Seniority:
Expert: at least 3-5 years of specific experience in the role of Presales, Bid Specialist or Solution Architect in the ICT/Cybersecurity field, with proven experience in writing public and private tenders (national and international).
Technical and IT knowledge and skills:

Architectures & Services: Solid knowledge of security architectures and main Cyber services (e.g.: Managed Security Services, SOC/SIEM, Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, VAPT);

Technologies: Knowledge of main protection technologies (e.g.: NGFW, SOAR, EDR/XDR, IAM, Network Security, Cloud Security);

Frameworks: Familiarity with main industry standards and frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, IEC 62443, NIS2, CIS Controls);

Infrastructure: Knowledge of IT and/or OT architectural principles (Networking, Virtualization, Operating Systems, Cloud Architecture);

Tools: Advanced proficiency in the Office suite (in particular Excel for cost modeling and PowerPoint for executive presentations).
Behavioral skills:

Excellent public speaking skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for the customer;

Ability to work by objectives and respect strict deadlines (tender deadlines);

Propensity for transversal collaboration with sales, legal, procurement and technical specialist teams.
Language skills:
English: Minimum required level B2/C1 (full autonomy in writing complex technical documents and conducting meetings).
Other:

Availability for business trips (national and international) for meetings with clients and technical inspections;

Possession of professional certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, or vendor-specific certifications) will be a preferential title.
