Within the Aeronautics Division, in the Engineering of the B.U. Aircraft, in the "Simulation & Training System (S&TS)” department, unit “Trainers GBTS & Simulators”, we are looking for a Modeling & Simulation Integrator Specialist for the Venegono superiore office.
The main activities:
Analysis of user needs and system specifications.
Identification of hardware and software requirements and solutions, with particular attention to the modeling of virtual environments for training or simulation applications (including Virtual and Augmented Reality technologies and methodologies).
Design embedded, real-time and modeling and simulation application software.
Support and management of CSCI or System Integration
The position involves interaction with colleagues from other units within the S&TS department's area of relevance, and with other company functions (Avionics, Safety, Airworthiness and Software Certification, Quality, Configuration and Cyber Security) as well as with external suppliers.
Educational qualification:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Aeronautical / Aerospace Engineering, other specializations may be evaluated based on acquired experience.
Experience level
Technical skills:
Writing hardware and software requirements;
Architectural documentation for integrated hardware and software systems;
Preparation of test procedures and test reports;
System certifiability and certification requirements
Considered a plus:
Ability to read electrical and functional diagrams;
Knowledge of digital buses in the aerospace sector (CAN Bus, ARINC 429, MIL1553 and serial protocols);
IT skills:
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages;
Knowledge of the DOORS environment for requirements management;
as added value:
Knowledge of C/C++, Python programming languages.
Good knowledge of MathWorks Matlab for data analysis;

Attitude to teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration;
Autonomy and proactivity in carrying out assigned activities;
Ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines.
Language skills:
Good command of the English language, both spoken and written;
