Within the Aeronautical Division, in the B.U. Aircraft, and specifically within the Airlifters Avionic Systems unit, we are looking for a SW Engineer to join our Turin plant.
The resource will be integrated into the Airlifters Avionic Systems unit, specifically in the AIRLIFTERS / AVS SOFTWARE organizational unit, and will be able to contribute to the design and coding of avionic software compliant with the DO-178C standard, collaborating with system engineering, V&V, and quality.
Education:
Preference for a Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science; equivalent qualifications in other engineering and scientific disciplines are accepted.
Required experience level (junior, expert, senior, master):
Junior: at least 2 years of experience in Avionic SW testing and coding.
Technical skills:
Knowledge of the DO-178C avionic software lifecycle
Software and system requirements analysis, architectural design, and detailed design
Development in Ada and/or C/C++ on embedded platforms
Knowledge of scripting languages Lua, Python
Knowledge of RTOS (e.g., Green Hills INTEGRITY)
Knowledge of avionic protocols/buses (MIL-STD-1553, ARINC429, Ethernet, TCP/IP)
Knowledge of Git for version control
Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS)
Experience with static analysis tools (e.g., GNAT SAS, Understand, Polyspace)
Nice to have:
Knowledge of C#, Lua, Python programming languages
Knowledge of database development in a Windows environment
Knowledge in cybersecurity, information security, secure coding
Knowledge of Model-Based Design principles in safety-critical environments
Basic knowledge of telecommunications
