Within the Avionic Systems Area, we are looking for an Avionic System Engineer for our Turin office.
The resource will be inserted within the Fighters Avionics Systems platform and in particular in the Fighters Avionic Systems Engineering discipline.
The resource will mainly deal with:
Analyze the project documentation of subsystems and equipment.
Prepare test procedures to be performed both in a virtual cockpit environment and on rig/aircraft according to avionic requirements
Support the execution of integration tests
Optimization of Test Procedures applicable to the avionic system
Contribution for areas of competence to integration tests on aircraft.
Contribution to the preparation of Test Reports (TR)
Updating the aircraft modification database and/or aircraft drawings
Participation/preparation of input for meetings/teleconferences in the avionic field
Preparation of subsystem and AVS documentation for technical meetings
Support for Ground testing/investigation activities on aircraft
Support for Ground testing/investigation activities on aircraft relating to the downloading of non-volatile memories of some on-board computers and the serial loading of the SW.
Preparation of mission and aircraft configuration data using platform planning systems
Analysis of Data Modules, maintenance manuals, Flight Manuals, checklists and support for their definition and updating.
Support for Qualification documentation regarding National Clearance
Educational Qualification:
Diploma / Master's degree in Electronics or Aerospace
Required experience level:
Senior At least 10+ years of experience in the aeronautical sector in avionic systems
Technical/IT skills:
Knowledge in System Engineering
Experience related to avionic systems in general and simulation technologies and their integration on virtual machines
Familiarity with EF standards and their application in an operational context, in particular with: System Definition processes, system design development cycle, System Integration processes, documentation configuration control processes, subsystem qualification process
Knowledge of performance data analysis methodologies (statistics on FT data)
Knowledge of avionic equipment qualification issues including aspects relating to civil certification regulations
Experience in Avionic System Design
Knowledge of the architecture and equipment of military avionic systems
Familiarity with tools/methodologies such as: CORE, PCMS, ICD Tool, Doors and RM&T, Statemate, MATLAB/Simulink
Ability to use standard tools (e.g. personal computers with SW packages such as Microsoft Office in a WINDOWS environment)
