Within the Avionic Systems Area, we are looking for an Avionic Architect System Engineer for our Turin/Warton site.
The selected candidate will be included in the Fighters Avionic Systems platform and in particular in the Avionic Joint Team in Warton.
The resource will mainly deal with:
Configuration control and traceability of L2 "FRD" functional requirements for the NAV and ACS subsystem
Analysis and comments relating to the introduction of new NAV and ACS functionalities.
Generation of process SCAs (e.g., merge, read across, check model) necessary for the creation of NAV and ACS FRD/Hazard Analysis/UML Baselines
Definition/updating of interface requirements for the NAV and ACS subsystem, maintaining configuration control and traceability with applicable project documentation
Definition/updating of "UML L2" requirements for the NAV and ACS subsystem, maintaining configuration control and traceability with applicable project documentation
Safety analysis relating to the NAV and ACS subsystem, elaboration and updating of fault analysis and fault trees
Support for the development, maintenance and updating of development tools.
Participation in meetings and feasibility studies
Support for the definition of IRD and ICD
Analysis of SPR and solution
Flight Test Support
Other AJT activities
Education:
Diploma / Master's degree in Electronics or Aerospace
Required experience level:
Expert At least 2 years of experience in the aeronautical sector in avionic systems
Technical/IT skills:
Experience in Avionic System Design
In-depth knowledge of Avionic architectures, navigation systems and armament control
Familiarity with the following Tools: Statemate, PCMS, EP/T ICD tool, StatUS, PowerDiff, FaulTree++, Relaiability Workbench, PBA, PBA PRO, Doors
Knowledge of protocol 1553, E-1553, 3910, EFEx, TCP/IP, UDP, FTP and TFTP
Familiarity with civil standards (RTCA, Eurocae, etc.)
Familiarity with the concept of real-time processing
