Within the Aircraft BU, the Workshop Manager of the Primary Lines (Part Manufacturing) of the Venegono Plant ensures the planning and achievement of production objectives for the Composites, Sheet Metal, Welding/Tubing, Galvanic and Mechanical departments.
The role ensures the full efficiency and effectiveness of production processes through the management and coordination of Department Managers and an overall workforce of approximately 200 resources.
Ensure the achievement of production targets (quality, time, and cost KPIs) for the primary lines.
Coordinate Department Managers and ensure the correct execution of operational activities.
Plan capacity and workloads to optimize resources.
Monitor line performance, identify critical issues, and implement corrective actions.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and process standardization.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and aeronautical conformity regulations.
Foster a collaborative environment and professional development of personnel.
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, HR and Program Functions for integrated management of production flows.
Requirements

Education:
STEM degree (preferably Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering)
Required experience level (junior, expert, senior, master) Expert
Technical skills:
Cross-functional and multidisciplinary technical skills on manufacturing part production processes (Machining, Composite part manufacturing, Surface treatments, Welding and Sheet metal)
Behavioral skills:
Demonstrated ability in managing large work groups and leading personnel across multiple departments
Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
Results orientation and priority management.
