Within the Safety Critical Avionic Equipment SW – Cockpit SW organizational unit of the Electronics Division, we are looking for an Avionic Software Engineer for our Pomezia office.

The person will mainly deal with the following activities:

• Analysis of customer requirements

• Development/Verification of Embedded Real Time and Safety Critical SW applications for avionics subsystems

• Development/Verification of graphical/HMI avionics applications

• Writing test scenarios

• Preparation of project documentation

• Testing and integration of Real Time software applications developed into the final system

• V&V activities in accordance with DO178C

• Management of V&V project teams

• Participation in meetings/reviews with Clients/Suppliers

• Participation in process reviews with Clients/Certification Authorities

Educational qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer/Electronic Engineering, Master's degree in Computer/Electronic Engineering, Master's degree in Computer Science

Seniority

• Junior: 1-3 years of experience

• Expert: 3-5 years of experience

• Senior: 5-10 years of experience

Technical knowledge and skills

• Knowledge of electronic and IT technological contexts applied to complex equipment

• Digital architectures

• Knowledge of SW versioning tools

• Knowledge of requirements management tools

• Knowledge of avionics standards (DO178C)

• Real Time Embedded Systems

• Knowledge of RTOS (Integrity, VxWorks)

• Knowledge of cartography

Behavioral skills:

• Proactivity;

• flexibility in dealing with topics outside one's area of expertise.

Language skills

• Good knowledge of English (B2)

Computer skills

• Knowledge of C/C++, Python programming languages

• Knowledge of GPGPU Programming (CUDA, Vulkan)

• Knowledge of Real Time operating systems

• Knowledge of Real Time testing methodologies

• Knowledge of the OpenGL library is a plus

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

The ideal candidate is available to carry out work mainly on-site and to undertake short/medium-term business trips, after adequate on-the-job training, in Italy and/or abroad.
