For our IPC team we are looking for a committed and motivated employee as Junior Buyer (m/w/d), Location: Eschborn.
Role and Responsibilities
Prepare and issue RFQ (Request for Quotation) & PO (Purchase Order) to suppliers in accordance with departmental and company operating procedures & policy
Review supplier’s quotation and make Sales Offer for internal customers (HQ procurement team)
Maintain and develop robust relationships with external suppliers/forwarders, ensuring that they meet our requirements in all procurement aspects
Troubleshoot supply issues by on-site supplier visits, un-/accompanied by HQ counterparts
Continuously expand responsibilities by managing numerous supplier categories and conducting Sourcing activities
Source and evaluate new potential suppliers with competitive TQRDC (Technology, Quality, Response, Delivery, and Cost) to alleviate risks from suppliers with persistent issues
Initiate development projects and create businesses by achieving project adoption and design win (commercialization) through internal proposal of competitive potential suppliers
Skills and Qualifications
Degree in Business, Engineering or Science from a reputable university (Technical background), abundant internship experience but limited to 1 year of career experience preferred; Typical entry point for university graduates
Write and speak Korean and English at a high level of professional fluency, able to persuade and influence HQ/supplier with advanced social skills
German/EU work visa and driving license holder, accustomed to European business culture, market and local customs, able to travel frequently and navigate within Europe and Korea
Excellent communication at all levels with international suppliers and internal customers along with networking and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving ability equipped with numerical/analytical skills
Learns to use professional concepts. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues
Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures
Normally receives detailed instructions on all work
