Job Description

Your missions:

Your main responsibilities as Tech Lead - ML Engineer

Here is a non-exhaustive list of your daily missions; we trust you to take them on and enrich them in your own way.

• Lead the development and improvement of ML models and LLM platforms

• Create and deploy robust data pipelines for data scientists and analysts

• Support Data Scientists to ensure reproducibility, testability, and scalability of solutions

• Collaborate with stakeholders to evolve technical solutions

• Implement MLOps principles: CI/CD, monitoring, model management, testing, versioning

• Coach and coordinate teams, promote best practices, and ensure technological watch

Where will you perform your missions? With major clients in banking, insurance, industry, retail, defense, luxury, and energy, who are carrying out innovative projects.

Depending on the projects, here are the technologies you will encounter:

• Programming languages: Python, Java

• Frameworks: Pandas, Keras, Tensorflow, Scikit-Learn, Numpy, Pyspark

• Platforms: Databricks, Kafka, Spark

• DevOps and CI/CD: GitLab, Jenkins, Sonar, GitOps, Kubernetes, Docker

• MLOps and Big Data: Airflow, ML Flow, MLOps

• Databases: PostgreSQL, Oracle, ElasticSearch, MongoDB

• Operating systems: RedHat

What does the internal Tech Lead role involve?

• Animate an internal community of ML engineers: ensure a technological watch and guarantee them a projection in terms of career trajectory

• Participate in pre-sales in support of sales to promote our offerings

• Take part in recruitment missions and skills validation

• Co-build with the Squad Leader and other TLs the trajectory of the squad and its evolution

Qualifications

Your assets to join us:

With a higher education from an engineering school or university, you have acquired at least 10 years of experience, including 5 on Machine Learning projects (supervised and unsupervised) in production.

You have already gained experience as a Tech Lead or have already managed a team. You have developed a strong ability to collaborate with architects, data engineers, data scientists, etc., to successfully develop solutions while ensuring quality.

From a technical perspective, you have the following skills:

• Design, development, and implementation of technical solutions

• Mastery of ML pipelines, from design to production.

• Excellent Python skills.

• Experience deploying Large Language Models and the LLMOps ecosystem

• Mastery of good development practices (design patterns, craftsmanship, code industrialization, testing...) and Data Engineering

• Ability to design microservices architectures

How does the recruitment process at Devoteam work?

It consists of 2 to 3 interviews:

• Talent Acquisition Interview: The objective is to review your skills, your English level, and validate your motivations.

• Tech & Business Interview: This interview aims to deepen your technical skills and verify their suitability for our needs during an exchange with a domain expert.

• Leadership Interview: It allows us to evaluate your potential, your ambitions, and consider your evolution within Devoteam.

We prioritize at least one in-person interview. A reference check is requested, and depending on your profile, tests (technical, English, personality...) may be sent to you.

If your application is accepted, we will send you an offer detailing the employment conditions. Upon acceptance, the employment contract is formalized.
