The Opportunity

Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external standards, procedures, and guidelines. You will work as an R&D Electrical Engineer, contributing to the development of technologies and tools for transformers, as part of a global innovation team.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Propose and develop new technologies, products, and processes for both core and shell-type transformers.

• Lead and manage R&D projects independently, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and with the required quality.

• Maintain and develop technical standards and design tools for transformers.

• Perform electrical design and supervise the manufacturing and testing of prototypes.

• Share knowledge and findings through reports, specifications, and participation in educational programs.

• Evaluate production processes and proactively identify improvement opportunities.

• Support factories in troubleshooting within your area of expertise.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, proposing partnerships and innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering; a Master’s or PhD is a plus.

• Previous experience in electrical engineering, either in the transformer industry or academia.

• Knowledge of advanced numerical simulations (e.g., magnetic or dielectric).

• Proficiency in commercial simulation tools (e.g., Ansys, Simcenter).

• Ability to develop custom technical solutions.

• Strong teamwork skills in international environments and excellent interpersonal abilities.

• Innovative mindset, proactive attitude, and problem-solving orientation.

• Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
