If Project Management is a role spread across all industries, markets, and professions, then too it is a role that acts as an umbrella with core roles, operations, and behaviours that will make you successful wherever you decide to practice it.
But have you ever wondered what a project manager actually does?
The aim of this online experience is to look at Project Management from a birds-eye level, exploring different practices, methodologies, cultures, and the driving force between each. You’ll have the chance to discover what a Project Manager actually does, his tasks and skills: a behind-the-scenes look on a typical day of a PM.
To do so, we’ll have Jake Barry on board, Project Manager at Microsoft. Thanks to this job position, he has learned at depth about how this role is used to deliver outcomes with customers across different sectors such as Manufacturing, Financial and Professional Services, Retail, and Public Sector.
He’ll provide an overview of the qualities and skills needed to succeed in Project Management, showing also the most frequently used tools and models as Waterfall and Agile.
