Manufacturing Engineering Manager

What will your responsibilities be?
Lead the Engineering, Maintenance, AME, Automation and Continuous Improvement functions at plant level
Develop and implement short- and long-term engineering strategies aligned with business and plant objectives
Drive innovation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality and operational performance
Ensure manufacturing processes, equipment and technologies support production requirements and customer expectations
Lead engineering activities related to new product launches, APQP and process validation
Manage departmental resources, including CAPEX and OPEX budgets
Promote Lean Manufacturing, TPM and structured problem-solving methodologies
Support production capacity planning and manufacturing capability development
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Central Engineering teams to achieve business objectives
Ensure compliance with customer requirements, company standards and safety regulations
Lead, develop and engage multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement
Support talent development and succession planning within the department
Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
Minimum 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, including leadership experience
Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering processes, APQP, Lean Manufacturing, TPM and continuous improvement methodologies
Experience managing engineering projects, manufacturing processes and new product launches
Proven experience leading Engineering, Maintenance, Continuous Improvement or Manufacturing Operations teams
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and drive strategic initiatives with minimal supervision
Experience with automation, digitalization and manufacturing innovation initiatives is considered an advantage
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Good English language skill
