As a Candidate Experience Consultant, you’ll support prospective ADF members with confidence, care and clarity, playing a vital part in building trust, engagement and momentum throughout their recruitment journey.

Reporting to the Candidate Experience Team Leader, this role offers the opportunity to support and engage with all prospects and candidates throughout their journey to join the Australian Defence Force.
As a candidate experience consultant, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding experience for prospects and candidates calling our main ADF Careers phone number.
Acting as a key point of contact, you will communicate with prospects and candidates either beginning their application process or the very early stages of their application journey with ADF Careers.
You will guide candidates through their application, assist with completion, and respond to questions in a timely and professional manner. A strong attention to detail is essential, ensuring all information provided is correct and consistent with policy and process. Above all, you will maintain an excellent standard of service, ensuring each candidate feels informed, supported and valued throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver an exceptional end-to-end experience, ensuring candidates feel supported throughout the application process
Contribute to a candidate-first, high-performance culture
Communicate clearly and professionally across multiple communication channels, with primary method being phone based communication
Provide accurate advice and guidance on application requirements and next steps
Navigate multiple systems while actively listening and maintaining thorough, accurate records
Maintain detailed and compliant records of candidate interactions and outcomes
Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues
Achieve established KPIs while maintaining high quality standards
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes
Promote a culture of honesty, openness and collaboration
Build and maintain strong service relationships that meet or exceed the expectations of Defence and the DFR Adecco contract

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must:
Be an Australian citizen
Be able to obtain and maintain an Australian AGSVA security clearance
