About the team: TikTok Shop is an innovative marketplace fully integrated into TikTok. It brings together online sellers, buyers and creators - all within TikTok to build a one-stop, seamless shopping experience and bringing more commerce solutions that further enable our community to discover and engage with what they love.

As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

This internship will be project based. Candidates can apply to a maximum of two positions and will be considered for jobs in the order you apply. The application limit is applicable to TikTok and its affiliates' jobs globally. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. We encourage you to apply as early as possible.

Responsibilities

1. Participate in the creation and optimization of AIGC image-based content for TikTok Shop, with a focus on European markets (mainly Germany, France, Spain, and Italy). Content formats include creative shoppable image posts, contextual visual content, and supporting copywriting.

2. Based on brand and product information, write and optimize prompts for AIGC-generated images and copy, while controlling style and quality to ensure high standards in realism, aesthetics, consistency, and alignment with the product.

3. Demonstrate an understanding of European markets, e-commerce and product selection. Be able to identify key selling points and consumer usage scenarios across different product categories, and create image-based content concepts with both strong engagement and conversion potential.

4. Explore and develop effective approaches and methodologies for AIGC image content on content-driven platforms. Review and summarize high-performing AIGC content based on business goals, creating reusable case studies and best practices.

5. Participate in content quality review and evaluation, including AIGC-generated content, agency-produced content, and merchant-side image content. Assess whether content is suitable for the platform and target market from the perspectives of visual quality, messaging, user experience, platform governance, and market awareness

6. Help establish reusable evaluation criteria and optimization recommendations for different content types, driving overall improvements in image content quality and conversion performance.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently in your final year pursuing a Bachelor's degree or above.

• Available to start immediately till the end of the year

• Strong structured thinking and problem-solving ability: able to break down ambiguous problems, identify key questions, analyze root causes, and propose practical solutions with limited guidance.

• Strong project execution and data analysis capability: able to independently drive projects or workstreams from planning to implementation and review, use Excel, SQL, or dashboards to track metrics, identify data anomalies or business opportunities, and use data to support judgments and recommendations. Should be able to learn quickly, apply feedback effectively, and not require repeated guidance on the same task.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in e-commerce, content operations, platform operations, user growth, or merchant/brand management; or a strong understanding of e-commerce content, brand communication, and consumer psychology.

• Experience using AIGC tools for image generation, content creation, copywriting, or creative ideation (e.g. Midjourney, Nano Banana, DALL·E, or similar).

• Experience creating, evaluating, or optimizing image-based content for Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, Douyin, or other content-driven platforms; or a personal portfolio.

• Background in business analytics, e-commerce, marketing, communications, or related fields.

• Familiarity with European markets, cross-border e-commerce, content commerce, or creator/merchant ecosystems is a plus.
