Mid-Level
In this role, you actively shape the further development and stable operation of the central ServiceNow platform of the Vaillant Group.
You develop, configure, and optimize ServiceNow applications and processes with a clear focus on developer activities.
You work with modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB as well as Hardware and Software Asset Management (HAM/SAM).
In addition, you design and implement automations, workflows, and business logic to sustainably reduce manual effort.
You realize integrations with connected systems (e.g. infrastructure, monitoring, or asset systems) using REST APIs and web services.
You support the continuous development and quality assurance of the CMDB, including data models, relationships, and governance.
You closely collaborate with international IT teams, architects, and business departments to translate technical requirements into robust solutions.
You support platform upgrades, releases, and continuous improvements of the ServiceNow environment.
Qualification: You have successfully completed vocational training or a degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience: You bring several years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer or ServiceNow Specialist.
Expertise and skills: Strong knowledge in at least one of the following areas: ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HAM, or SAM; Solid experience in ServiceNow development using JavaScript (e.g. Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Flow Designer); Experience with REST APIs, integrations, and automation solutions.
IT understanding: You have a good understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management concepts.
Way of working: You work independently, in a structured and solution‑oriented manner, and feel comfortable in agile and international teams.
Personality: You combine analytical thinking with a hands‑on mentality, are team‑oriented, and show a high level of initiative.
Languages: You speak very good English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
Flexible work model: adjustable starting times (7:30 – 9:00AM), hybrid work 70/30, and up to 30 days of remote work from abroad from selected countries.
