Job Description:

Within the Electronics Business Area, we are looking for a Contract Manager for our Rome Tiburtina office.

The selected person will be employed in the Commercial LoB Naval Systems Organizational Unit with the aim of ensuring, within the assigned Projects, the analysis of the T&C of contracts to be acquired and supporting the business areas in the administrative management of existing contracts and in the application of Trade Compliance procedures, both in Italy and abroad, in compliance with contractual obligations, in observance of relevant laws, and with the aim of achieving the revenue and collection targets set for the business.

The person will be responsible for the following activities:

• in the Business Winning phase:

  • Participation in bid teams for the elaboration of main commercial offers
  • Analysis of T&C and their negotiation with the client, as well as the preparation of all documentation preparatory to the contract signing (e.g., license requests, bank guarantee requests, company documentation requests, etc.).

• in the Contract Execution phase:

  • Operating in the program team to ensure the achievement of project objectives, not only from an economic-financial point of view, but also ensuring compliance with contractual agreements with the Client (external/internal).
  • Management of contractual compliances in accordance with company procedures and national laws, with particular regard to: Legal, Security, Trade compliance, Health & Safety aspects.
  • Certification of the acquisition of a new contract/order, through the issuance of the odv (using SAP), and in the issuance and sending to the client of active cycle invoices (using SAP).
  • Preparation of summary documents on the economic status of the program in terms of revenue/collections

Education:

Law or Economics degree (master's) or equivalent.

Required Experience Level: Junior

Skills and Technical Knowledge:

• Knowledge of invoicing and contract concepts.

• Knowledge of Law 185/90 regulations.

• Knowledge of USA ITAR/EAR regulations.

• Knowledge of the Public Procurement Code

Language Skills:

Good knowledge of written and spoken English, minimum B2 level. Preferably knowledge of a second language among French, Spanish, and German

How does the selection process work? Following the collection of applications, CVs most in line with the required qualifications are evaluated and identified. Selected candidates undergo an introductory interview with the Human Resources team, motivational and aptitude-based, followed by a technical in-depth interview with the Business. At the end of the process, feedback is provided to the person, both in case of a positive and negative outcome.
