British American Tobacco Bulgaria has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Finance Executive in Sofia

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Financial Planning Reporting & Forecasting

• Support the preparation of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and strategic plans.
• Coordinate planning cycles and ensure timely submission of financial data.
• Consolidate financial information and maintain forecast accuracy.
• Analyse financial performance and explain variances versus plan, forecast, and prior year.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting business performance.
• Partner with functions such as Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, HR, and Procurement.
• Act as a trusted finance partner for stakeholders.

2. Month-End Close & Financial Control

• Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting processes.
• Ensure financial data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policies.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Assist in maintaining a strong control environment.

3. Compliance & Governance

• Ensure adherence to BAT policies, IFRS, and internal controls.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks.

What are we looking for

• Bachelor / master’s degree in Finance or Economics
• Experience on a similar position will be considered as an advantage
• Strong financial and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel and data analysis
• SAP/BPC experience is a plus
• Financial modelling and forecasting
• Stakeholder management
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Team player who builds strong relationships, shares knowledge, and collaborates effectively to achieve common goals
• Fluency in English and Bulgarian is a must
