Within the Aeronautics Division, in the scope of the Aircraft B.U. Engineering, in the Digital Engineering Unit, we are looking for a Digital Engineer based in Turin and/or Pomigliano.

The Digital Engineer will be responsible for carrying out the activities of the DIGITAL ENGINEERING unit, in particular:

• Manage the relevant team to achieve assigned objectives;

• Within the Engineering UO and with particular attention to international cooperation programs, act as the primary interface of Engineering with partners and other company functions for defining requirements for digital technological infrastructures, the Common Working Environment, the toolchain necessary for engineering processes, and all digital enablers required for conducting Engineering activities;

• Manage the collection, definition, implementation, and prioritization within Engineering of requirements for the adaptation and innovation of services/networks/systems, managed by Digital Solution, necessary to satisfy the business model and transformation of engineering;

• Manage the maintenance of know-how on the state of the art of calculation and simulation tools and support/development of new processes and tools necessary to streamline and improve the production and management of calculation results, including support in identifying management techniques for shared high-performance computers and the coordination of the development of internal tools when considered strategic and/or cost/effective.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related disciplines.

Required Experience Level (junior, expert, senior, master):

Expert/Senior – At least 5 years of experience in complex corporate environments

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of the main digital processes/methodologies/tools for designing an aeronautical product;

• Knowledge of the organization and technologies of networks/technological and digital infrastructures supporting the design process;

• Knowledge of the aeronautical design "toolchain" and the concept of "digital thread";

• Knowledge of new technologies (AI, Cybersecurity, etc.) applied to aeronautical design and qualification processes;

• Knowledge of operational management, through common management tools, of team activities (planning, activity progress, budgeting, milestones, etc.);

• Optional:

  • Knowledge of Model Based System Engineering;
  • Knowledge of ALM/PLM
  • Knowledge of main aeronautical regulations

Language Skills:
