Job Description:

Within the Cyber & Security Solutions Business Area, we are looking for Software Engineers for our Rome Laurentina office.

Selected candidates will be placed in the "Public Administration & Defense" Line of Business, which has the mission of managing divisional business with reference to clients belonging to the Public Administration (central and local) and Defense organizations (national and international).

Selected individuals will be responsible for:

• Gathering functional requirements and drafting technical development or delivery specifications;

• Designing and developing software applications;

• Supporting the definition of test cases and their subsequent execution;

• Estimating project activity times and planning activities;

• Using CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub) with particular reference to build automation, definition of release pipelines.

Education: Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Seniority: Expert. At least 2-3 years of experience in software project development.

Technical/IT skills and knowledge:

• Knowledge of the Java programming language;

• Ability to implement both REST and SOAP WEB services;

• Knowledge of main relational and non-relational databases (e.g. Oracle, MySql, MongoDB);

• Knowledge of static code analysis techniques and related support tools (e.g. ISO standards, OWASP, Sonarcube, Appscan, CAST);

• Knowledge of development frameworks for middleware creation (e.g. Spring, Java);

• Knowledge of main development tools (e.g. Eclipse).

Language skills: B2 level knowledge of English.

Behavioral skills:

• Good relational and interpersonal skills;

• Propensity for teamwork, also in Agile development teams

How does the selection process work? Following the collection of applications, the CVs most in line with the required requirements are evaluated and identified. Selected candidates will have an introductory interview with the Human Resources team, motivational and aptitude, followed by an in-depth technical interview with the Business. At the end of the process, the person receives feedback, both in case of a positive and negative outcome.
