As a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and evolution of enterprise data platforms that enable advanced analytics, AI, and data-driven decision making across the organization. You will act as a recognized expert in data engineering, shaping technical standards, driving innovation, and mentoring others while delivering scalable and reliable data solutions.

WHAT IS NEEDED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field

• Extensive experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, and Database Development

• Provide a continuous improvement mindset by proactively identifying opportunities to optimize data platforms, engineering processes, and delivery practices, driving efficiency, scalability, reliability, and long-term business value

• Strong expertise in SQL, ELT processes, data integration, and enterprise data warehouse solutions

• Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms, preferably Snowflake, and data orchestration tools such as Matillion

• Experience with CI/CD practices, version control, automated testing, and deployment frameworks

• Deep understanding of data governance, data quality, privacy, security, lineage, and access management principle

• Experience designing scalable logical and physical data models and optimizing database performance

• Knowledge of AI-ready data architectures, feature engineering, and data solutions supporting analytics, machine learning, and generative AI use cases

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex business and technical challenges across multiple domains

• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions and deliver measurable business value

• Proven experience influencing stakeholders, driving technical standards, and collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Experience coaching, mentoring, and supporting the development of other team members

• Demonstrated ability to anticipate challenges, drive continuous improvement, and lead innovation within the data engineering domain

HOW CAN YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US?

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise data warehouses integrating current and historical data from multiple business systems and data sources

• Build and optimize scalable ELT pipelines, ensuring efficient, secure, and reliable data processing

• Translate business and database requirements into logical and physical data models that support operational, analytical, and AI use cases

• Define and implement data validation, testing, quality controls, and monitoring frameworks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data assets

• Design and maintain database structures, indexing strategies, and performance optimizations to maximize platform efficiency

• Establish procedures for monitoring, maintenance, backup, recovery, and operational support of data platforms

• Drive the adoption of best practices in data engineering, architecture, governance, security, and data quality

• Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies, identifying opportunities to improve business outcomes and accelerate innovation

• Lead the development of new standards, frameworks, processes, and operational models that support strategic business objectives

• Anticipate business, technical, regulatory, and compliance challenges and proactively implement solutions

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, analysts, architects, and technology teams to deliver high-quality data products

• Communicate technical concepts, project updates, and recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership

• Provide coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance to engineers and project teams across the organization

• Drive continuous improvement by reducing technical debt, optimizing existing solutions, and improving platform performance and reliability

• Support enterprise AI and machine learning initiatives through feature engineering, feature management, model operationalization, and AI governance practices

*For those applying in Poland, in this position you will earn no less than 17 500 PLN gross monthly. **Please note that only online application in English will be taken into consideration.
