  • # Introduction

Joinrs srl operates and owns Joinrs a platform (website and mobile app) designed to provide a variety of services aimed at enhancing the overall academic and professional experience of its users.

Joinrs has developed a digital platform available via the web and on the mobile app ("Joinrs App"), aimed at providing study tools and promoting the intersection of job supply and demand. Job seekers can submit their applications by entering their personal information and any job skills and/or experience they have acquired, using the available online forms and optionally attaching their Curriculum Vitae ("CV") and a photo to their user profile. The purpose of posting photos is to precisely identify the candidate in relation to other web users and to enhance their CV. The ability to post a photo on Joinrs is not a substitute for other Internet services such as: personal pages, photo sharing sites, etc. Joinrs recommends that resume photographs be personal and of quality.

In providing its services, Joinrs disseminates data provided by users. All users have access to a control panel, for which they are fully responsible regarding the data and other information displayed on the portal. Although Joinrs provides its services with due care and attention, it cannot verify and guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or correctness of the information, nor will it be responsible for any errors (including manifest and typographical errors), service interruptions (whether due to temporary failures and/or partial repairs, website upgrades or maintenance, or otherwise), inaccurate, misleading, or false information, or failure to finalize it. Each operator is responsible at all times for the accuracy, completeness, and correctness of (descriptive) information.

Users, visitors, and anyone using (the "Portal") are subject to the Terms and Conditions below, as well as the relevant Privacy Policy. In this document we generally refer to you ("You/User") as anyone who uses the Portal and, after your first visit, has begun using the services and features provided therein, thereby confirming your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Use.

You must be 18 years of age or older to register with the Portal: Joinrs will not accept registrations from minors, nor is it able to monitor the behavior of its registered users. Users (defined below) who register as minors do so at their own personal risk, and Joinrs will not accept any responsibility for this and reserves the right to take any appropriate action and/or generally against illegal activity on the website and Portal.

To register a user account on Joinrs, you will be asked to provide "Personal Information" such as username, password, email address, month and year of birth, and other personally identifiable information in accordance with the Privacy Policy which you should read before completing registration and which you must agree to in order to register with Joinrs and print for future reference. You must not share with Joinrs or Joinrs’ clients or collaborators any sensitive and/or judicial data in accordance with Article 4, paragraph 1, letters d) and e) of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003. Users who, in exceptional cases, in connection with specific opportunities or job searches, need to communicate sensitive and/or judicial data to Joinrs, must provide such data only with express written consent, in accordance with the specific provisions.

When registering your account, we ask that you provide us with accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for the activities that occur on your account, so you must keep your account credentials secure; otherwise, you will be liable for any activity on your account that uses your login information. You may change your password at any time. In addition, you agree to notify Joinrs immediately of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other security breach you may experience. In addition, Joinrs may decide in its discretion to terminate and/or suspend any User Account, even without notice, if it deems it necessary to protect its business interests and/or for similar reasons and/or if it is ordered to do so by any Competent Authority.
  2. You agree that you will not use or initiate any automated system, including, without limitation, "robots," "spiders," "automatic form fillers," or similar technological devices or programs, that accesses the Portal in such a way as to send a series of request messages to Joinrs’ servers in a given period of time longer than a human could reasonably produce in the same period using a normal online web browser. Notwithstanding the above, Joinrs may grant public search engine operators permission to use spiders to copy materials from the Portal for the sole purpose of creating publicly searchable indexes of the materials. Joinrs reserves, however, the full right to revoke such exceptions generally or in specific cases, at its sole discretion.
  3. Joinrs allows you to link your User Account to your Facebook or other social network ("SNS") account. When you create a linked account, you can log in to the SNS and automatically log in to the Portal at the same time, the name and profile picture will be the same as the linked SNS, but you can always change the name or profile picture of the Portal. Joinrs is not responsible for the operation or functionality of any SNS. Facebook is a registered trademark of Facebook Meta.
  4. You agree that Joinrs, within the scope of its business, has the absolute right and permission to use your name, voice, image, as well as representations made by you, in any medium, worldwide, for the purposes of advertising, promotion, reporting and distribution of information about the company or the company’s business.
  5. Upon registration as a User, Joinrs grants you permission to use the Portal as set forth in these Terms and Conditions, provided that:
  6. You will not copy, alter, or distribute any part of the Portal or Content in any form without Joinrs’ prior written permission;
  7. You will not use any third-party software, code, or hardware to alter or modify any part of the Portal and/or its underlying mechanisms.
  8. If you disagree with any part of this document and/or the related Privacy Policy, you should discontinue use of the Portal immediately and are not permitted to register. If you have already registered, you should contact Joinrs and request immediate removal of your account which is invalid. Use of the Portal in violation of this Section 2 will force Joinrs to terminate your account and/or take any necessary legal action.

3. User Profile and Resume

3.1. After registering with the Portal, you may attach, at your discretion, a curriculum vitae ("Curriculum") to apply for job openings. The data and information contained in the attached Curriculum will be processed in accordance with applicable privacy laws and in compliance with the specific provisions of the Privacy Policy available on the Website. Such personal data and information may be used by Joinrs and third companies solely for purposes related to these User Terms of Service and Joinrs’ Privacy Policy. The User has the right to access personal data, to have it updated or corrected if it is inaccurate, and to request its deletion. In the latter case, Joinrs will automatically delete the information without any need for feedback. You may at any time remove your account and related data via the profile - settings page. These rights are exercised through the web/app page configuration.

3.2. Data and information included in the CV sent when the User applies for a job offer will be processed by Joinrs and third companies for recruitment purposes in compliance with applicable privacy legislation and according to the specific provisions of Joinrs’ Privacy Policy. In the event that the data and information included in the User’s Curriculum is not sufficient to enable Joinrs to provide recruitment services, Joinrs reserves the right to request additional information from the User to complete his/her profile. Joinrs may not transfer any data provided by the User to third parties, with the exception of Joinrs’ clients and partners, solely for recruitment purposes. The User understands that in case of failure to expressly consent to disclose his/her data to Joinrs’ client companies for recruitment purposes, Joinrs may not be able to provide the service. In addition, applicants expressly authorize Joinrs to access their personal information for the purpose of informing them about specific job offers suitable for their professional profile.

3.3. Subsequent to the creation of the User Account and based on the information provided by the User through his or her CV regarding education, experience and professional requirements, the User will be contacted by potential employers either directly by Joinrs, through the email address provided by the User to Joinrs at the time of registration, or through the contact information in the CV uploaded by the User. When the User creates his/her profile, uploads or updates the CV he/she authorizes and requests Joirns to set the profile as searchable on the Site ("searchable") by default.

The User has the option to enable or disable, at any time, the option that allows companies to contact him directly through the information in his profile or attached CV. This option can be freely managed in the "Settings" section of his user profile. In case of deactivation, companies will not be able to view the User’s contact information, nor get in direct communication with him/her, except for any applications already sent. In fact, profiles that are not searchable on the Site are made available only to companies for which the job seeker has initiated an application, chat or provided their CV. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that their profile is accurate and up-to-date. If a CV or user profile includes content prohibited by this Agreement or for any other reason at Joinrs sole discretion, Joinrs may set the profile as unsearchable, or otherwise make it unavailable.

In addition, the system allows the initiation of a chat between company and User: the company may send a request for connection and contact to the User, who has the option of accepting or rejecting this request. In case of acceptance, a direct chat and email conversation is initiated and the company obtains visibility of the User’s contact data. In case of refusal, the chat is not activated and the User’s contact details remain confidential.

The User also authorizes Joinrs to send via email and other means notices and news about Joinrs’ clients, as well as the newsletter, job tips, job opportunities, reports and trends on job opportunities, online experiences, and other job or educational opportunities. The User may request to deactivate the service at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter option.

3.4. As Joinrs only provides the digital platform and related services, Joinrs cannot be held responsible for the content of any communications sent to Users by prospective employers and vice versa, including attached files, images and photos, which are completely beyond the control of Joinrs.
